*About work*

Pale blue, sage green, warm beige and soft earthy tones come together in an arrangement of
overlapping shapes and textured surfaces. Fragments of material and loosely defined forms
are placed alongside delicate painted passages, creating a composition that is both varied
and cohesive.

Fragments of Harmony reflects Goh Beng Kwan’s inventive approach to materials and
composition. Each element contributes its own colour, texture and character, yet the whole
retains a pleasing sense of balance. The muted palette and subtle contrasts give the painting
a quiet sophistication.
