*About work*

Soft layers of turquoise, pale blue and muted green are interwoven with delicate textures and traces
of earthy colour. Fine vertical markings and gently diffused forms recall the movement of rain through a landscape, creating a refreshing, atmospheric composition.

In Whispers of the Rain, Goh Beng Kwan combines subtle colour relationships with the tactile qualities of mixed media. The varied surfaces lend depth to the painting, while the predominance of cool, translucent tones creates a soothing impression. The work possesses a gentle beauty, reminiscent of nature softened by a passing shower.
