*About work*

Delicate washes of lilac, blush pink and pale blue blend with soft earthy tones, forming a
gentle, atmospheric composition. The colours appear to drift across the paper, occasionally
gathering into denser passages before fading into the surrounding white.

In Lilac Reverie, Goh Beng Kwan explores the quieter possibilities of abstraction. The subtle
variations in colour and the natural diffusion of ink create a painting of understated beauty.
Its soft palette and unhurried composition lend it a particularly serene character.
