Footprints In The Village

We have seen coolie men, samsui women, and tradesmen of the time strong in their element. But we have yet to see their lives outside of labour. Each artwork shows how through all the unwavering hard work, their downtimes are spent leisurely with their loved ones or engaging in hobbies.

This direction allows us to capture a fresh perspective of their private worlds and it is essentially these individuals who are the beacon of the kampung spirit - leaving their values imprinted in our culture to this day.
